OUR HISTORY
From dream to reality -
Our journey is a story of passion, quality and community.
August 2021
Coffee No 1 was founded with a passion for quality coffee and a desire to create a place where people can meet, relax, and enjoy an excellent cup of coffee. Our journey began on August 30, 2021, when we decided to bring the rich tradition of coffee houses to our local community.
January 2022
We expanded our menu to include burgers and decided to focus on quality. Therefore, we only use delicious, sustainable meat from Grambogård, ensuring high animal welfare.
February 2023
At Coffee No 1, we underwent a comprehensive renovation that has given our café a fresh and modern look, both inside and out. Our indoor areas are now furnished with stylish and comfortable furniture, and our outdoor terrace has been revamped for a cozy atmosphere. We had a visit from Nikolaj who made Amager's most beautiful murals in our charmning cafe.
We have also expanded our menu with new dishes, as well as more vegetarian and vegan options.
November 2021
On November 1, 2021, we opened the doors to Coffee No 1, and we are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the locals. Our café has become a gathering place where people can enjoy delicious, sustainable dishes in a cozy atmosphere.
September 2022
We extended our opening hours, now open from Monday to Saturday until 9 PM. However, on Sundays, we close at 4 PM.
Spring/summer 2024
Mia joined the café, allowing us to expand our menu with sustainable ribeye steak, moules frites, and catering services for businesses in the Copenhagen area. Thanks to Mia, our café now has a more feminine look. Mia is also in charge of events at the café.

Dinner
Friendly and welcoming staff. The food is well prepared and good portions. Especially their brunch is unsurpassed.
Their All in burger with homemade pickles and caramelized onions tastes heavenly. It must be Amager's best burger. It is possible to sit outside and there is a patio heater and thermal jackets. Metro right at the door. Close to the blue planet.
Can be highly recommended. Value for money.

Lunch
Crazy burger and value for money 💸 They're so huge, they're hard to eat - and for 129 including fries and dip, it's too wild!!!
We drive here for their burgers and have dropped pretty much every other burger chain since we tried theirs. I'm vegetarian and this is one of the best veggie burgers I've tried 🥹
At the same time, they are always super sweet, welcoming and smiling when you come by! 10/10!
